Welcome back once again to this week’s bible quote feature from our very own NDCL student body! Today, we will hear from our senior, Emma Clayton, who was extremely enthusiastic in participating to share her favorite bible verse. Emma exclaimed that her favorite bible quote of all time is Philippians 4:13! This verse proclaims, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”. This may be a verse you have previously heard before, however, Emma encourages people to truly look into the deeper meaning of what this verse means to her. When Emma encounters challenges in her life that lead her to question the strength of her faith or even confidence in herself, this verse helps to remind her of all the things she can accomplish as long as Christ is by her side. When asked how Emma came across this verse for the first time, she recalled, “It has practically been ingrained in my brain since I was little“. When we look at an obstacle before taking it on, it can be intimidating, but it is so important to remember that anything can be accomplished as long as you follow Christ. He will stay with you wherever you go or in whatever you decide you want to do with your life. As you take on the obstacles and future complications this week, reminisce on this verse from Emma and see how it can affect your life for the better.
