What’s up, Lion Country?
Today was Monday, September 29th, marking the beginning of this fantastic homecoming week! To kick us off, in the spirit of the theme: SPOTLIGHT, each grade was assigned by color to represent the true bold and bright hues of Hollywood and the red carpet. Seniors were assigned to wear black, juniors: yellow, sophomores: white, and freshmen: red. We were sure blown away by the dedication to the red eyeblack the freshman sported throughout their class day. Way to go, freshman! We like to see it.
Thank you to all who participated in today’s lunch dress-down check-in and raffle. Be sure to keep checking in with your general SAB members at the front tables in the cafe during your lunch block to earn points for your grade. But remember, if you are not in theme, you can not participate.
This Friday is our annual homecoming pep rally hosted by SAB and our lion lunatics! Be sure to bring your A-game if you participate in any games! Sign up as a potential participant in the Teacher vs Student Volleyball Game!! Anyone from any grade can participate, but please check with your coach about the rules if you are a fall sports athlete. Just go to @ndcl_sab on Instagram and click the link in their story! Final teams will be announced on Thursday.
A final thank you to all SAB members for all the decorations in the hallway! The school looks amazing and feels like we’ve been transported right to the big city! If you see decorations falling down, please notify an SAB member you know, and they will help fix it.
Tomorrow’s dress down theme is Y2K edition!! Sport your throwback clothes and dress like you’re not from this era! Get spunky! Bring out those Juicy Couture sets and frosted tips! Have fun with it!
