This year was filled with picture taking, posting, and sharing special moments during school days. The NDCL Mane Instagram page became a top hit in the social media world for NDCL students. For each yearbook class, students would go around the school building to take pictures of the daily life at NDCL for both teachers and students. These pictures would then be posted to the MANE Instagram! 

The NDCL Mane highlights student life on campus. We were able to grow our following through the first semester of school. The MANE is not only a place to share pictures but also a place where we can inform the school of important upcoming events!

2023 Highlights:

• November 2022 – Launch THE MANE as a social media outlet.
• February 2023 – On Valentines Day, we launched the NEW – student-run – magazine THE MANE
• In 6 months, we grew our Instagram to over 700+ followers
• As of May 18th, the last official day of the school year, we have written/published 80+ articles.

Not bad for year one! This year, the school spirit was very high, and we loved sharing all the pictures taken during the school day and events. I enjoyed serving as the editor-in-chief to get things going. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this upstart student news magazine.
