NDCL seniors gathered together on both Wednesday and Thursday to take a trip down to the Cleveland Museum of Art. Here, they walked around and admired the art of all different religions around the world including Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. They answered questions including what they noticed, thought, and wondered about the art that they saw.

After a long day of walking around the museum and admiring all the different art, they took a trip down to Little Italy. Here, they gathered together and shared a meal at Angelo’s Nido Italia Restaurant. After their meal, they were allowed to walk around and stop at any of the bakeries in the area to purchase a pastry or coffee. Overall, it was a very reflective and peaceful day for the seniors to relax and spend time with one another while expanding their knowledge of world religion art.

By engaging with these artworks, the seniors were able to gain a deeper understanding of different faiths and their impact on society. They were able to see artwork such as ancient sculptures, intricate paintings, and beautiful artifacts that showcased the spiritual traditions of various cultures around the world. This was a super fun and educational way for the seniors to expand their knowledge and gain a deeper appreciation for different faiths.
Being able to go on field trips and spend quality time with fellow peers is a wonderful experience for the seniors at NDCL. Not only does it create unforgettable memories, but it also offers numerous benefits for bonding and creating new friendships. Field trips provide a break from the usual routine of high school and offer a chance to explore new places, cultures, and experiences. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn outside the classroom and apply what you have learned in a real-world context. Spending time together strengthens friendships and creates a sense of unity among the senior class.
