Welcome to a new segment of this year’s NDCL newsletters! Our Editor-in-Chief of these articles, Joy English, wants to include a weekly favorite bible verse from one of our very own NDCL students! Our first student of the year is Ella Buehner (senior)! When Ella was asked what her favorite bible verse was, she quoted from John 13:7, “You don’t understand now what I’m doing, but someday you will.” When asked how this verse speaks to her, Ella explained, “Often, in our lives, we forget that we have God to turn to when we encounter obstacles that don’t make sense, this reminds me that He is always there and has a plan for every one of us.” How inspiring, thanks Ella! Take this verse, remember it, and use it throughout this week as you encounter any possible obstacles, big or small.
