Welcome back once again to yet another weekly bible quote. For this week, as we push through the month of November, we will hear from our very own Sadie Skotzke (junior)! When I asked Sadie if she wanted to share her favorite bible quote to the school, she exclaimed “Yes please!” With excitement, Sadie followed with her favorite bible quote, Psalm 139:14, “I will praise thee;for I am fearfully and wonderfully made”. Sadie said she first heard this verse from an online influencer, when she was in eighth grade, and it has stuck with her ever since. As previously said, all verses from the bible can be interpreted and viewed differently based on what a person is going through in their life currently, let’s figure out just what this verse means to Sadie. When Sadie was asked how this verse is meaningful specifically for her, she told me that, as a teenage girl, “it can be easy to forget that God made you who you are for a reason and there is never a part of us that would ever make us disappointed. He is always someone that I can rely on for anything”. So true Sadie! Specifically for teenagers these days as they are exposed to social media and all the difficulties that come with being a teenager in this generation, it can be even more tough to keep faith and lay down our issues to God, trusting in him. This verse is a great reminder, although it is said often, that God truly is never missing and never will be. Despite how weak or strong your relationship is with him now, you can always trust that he will be waiting for you in your darkest times. Thanks again Sadie for sharing this inspirational verse!
