Dear Lions,

My name is Gianna DiFranco. I am a senior at NDCL and the editor-in-chief of the newly revamped NDCL Student News Magazine – THE MANE. This online endeavor is a platform for students at NDCL to share their stories and insights on specific topics while informing the lion community about everyday life. I, Mr. Brlecic, and the entire staff in Studio 222 have been working super hard to generate articles that students will enjoy reading on a semi-regular basis. We hope to spark interest and get the student body to engage with their world. My role will be to shepherd the topics for student reporting and bring them to publication for all to see. THE MANE is available to all NDCL students, faculty, and parents. We hope it will be a positive record of what goes into the great day-to-day that makes NDCL such a great high school. We aim to provide everyone an enjoyable outlet to take a break in their day and read their friends, students, or children’s work. This is not just a website for students in the yearbook class but an open forum for the entire school. The MANE is ready to engage you, and we intend to make it a popular destination as we continue to grow and improve it every day for this community!
