The Adult Happy Meal

Ava Baeslach

The limited-edition Mcdonald’s Adult Happy Meal did not disappoint. The meal is the perfect size for an adult and even came with a fun toy. You had a choice of a Big Mac or a 10-piece chicken nugget, with fries and a drink, and of course, your toy. The Big Mac never disappoints; with the layers and the flavors, the burger is to die for. On a scale of one to ten, I would rate the Big Mac a 6.5 out of 10. It is good, but it could be better. The chicken nuggets, a classic, would have to be rated at a 5. The fries were a 10 out of 10; no explanation is needed. The only correct choice for a drink at Mcdonald’s is a sprite. The Sprite makes the whole meal ten times better as it cleanses your soul. Now the moment you have been waiting for… the toy options. There were four toy options: a purple blob, a robber-looking character, Mcdonald’s worker, and a red-haired girl with four eyes. I think these toys are a throwback used to draw in customers from the older age group. The Adult Happy Meal overall was a seven out of ten. The idea was creative, but overall, you are paying 2-3 dollars more than you would by buying the meal combo. Mcdonald’s had a creative idea, but it was only a limited edition, so if you got one, you are lucky.
