After a lengthy summer break, the NDCL campus has officially sprung back to life.
Lion Pride Night kickstarted the season for hundreds of fall athletes and their coaches.
Neon Friday marked the beginning of the 2023-24 football season, and boy, did fans bring the energy. Last Friday, Lion Stadium’s student section was packed to capacity with fans sporting neon colors and cheering on the Lions. For the energy being so vibrant at only the first game, it’s clear the crowd has been anticipating the return of Friday Night Football. Who can blame them? Aside from Christmas, football season is the most beautiful time of the year.
This week, we celebrate ‘Welcome Back Week’. On Monday, students dressed in their best beach or travel destination attire. The building was full of leis and Hawaiian-inspired couture, and, as expected, there was no shortage of Vineyard Vines. On Tuesday, students “twinned” with their friends or favorite athletes. On Wednesday, we celebrated our first all-school Mass of the school year and Miss Ricci’s first Mass as NDCL’s Principal.
We look forward to what Thursday’s and Friday’s dress-down themes and activities entail. Check it ALL out in the gallery below.
The school has only been in session for two weeks, but judging by how energetic our campus has already become, we look forward to a great year. While our next exciting event technically isn’t until Homecoming week, we do have several football games coming up.
Keep the energy up, Lions. Let’s make it a great year!
